Uniting and Healing through Hope of Monroe County will be hosting our annual food drive throughout this Easter season. A press conference detailing the food drive will be held on Thursday, March 27, 1:00 PM at Tops Friendly Markets, 3507 Mt. Read Blvd. Rochester, NY.

At the press event, we will be announcing our annual Easter Food Basket Drive. Over the past several years, Uniting and Healing Through Hope has provided thousands of food baskets to those in need. We will be providing details for the food drop off locations and how you can donate via our website to purchase a single or multiple food baskets. Attending our event will be our corporate partners from Tops Friendly Markets and First Student Bus Company. Also attending will be local clergy, law enforcement, community leaders, and volunteers.

Once again, Tops Friendly Markets has partnered with us and have provided six store locations where your purchased food items may be donated. Those Tops store locations are as follows: 1) Henrietta, 1215 Jefferson Rd. 2) Rochester, 450 West Ave. 3) Brighton, 1900 Clinton Ave. S. 4) Greece, 3507 Mt. Read Blvd. 5) Irondequoit, 999 East Ridge Rd. and 6) Rochester, 1601 Penfield Rd. Collection dates are March 27-April14 at all six participating Tops Markets locations.

Our food basket drive is also looking for volunteers to help collect, sort, pack, and distribute food baskets. You may sign up to volunteer on our website.

We would again like to acknowledge our local media and their role in having our message and our outreach efforts heard as well as the collaboration of our partners, Tops Friendly Markets, and First Student Bus Company.
