ROCHESTER, NY — Monroe County Executive Adam Bello today announced the return of Monroe County Winterfest to Mendon Ponds Park. This popular family event will offer free activities for people of all ages throughout the park on Saturday, January 17, 2026 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

“Winterfest is a reminder that even in the winter months, our parks system has so much to offer,” said County Executive Bello. “With games, activities, great food, and more, Winterfest is a great opportunity for families to get outside and enjoy some winter fun.”

For the second year, Monroe County Winterfest will include the Winterfest Hot Cocoa Races hosted by Fleet Feet and YellowJacket Racing. The races will begin at 10 a.m. from Stewart Lodge and will consist of a Trail 5k, a Road 5k, and a Children’s Race.
