Halloween In The Hallway At Mary McLeod Bethune School No. 45

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – On Wednesday, October 30 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., Mary McLeod Bethune School #45 (1445 Clifford Avenue) will host the tenth annual Halloween in the Hallway—a cheerful, safe-and-inclusive community event open to students, families, and nearby residents.
The event is proudly sponsored in part by the Andrew Langston Center for Educational Excellence, a Rochester-based non-profit founded in honor of radio pioneer Andrew Langston. The Center supports youth educational success through mentoring and scholarships since its incorporation in 2012.
“It’s a great opportunity for our community—around us it’s a safe place where everyone can come together,” says Ms. Willis, Administrator at Bethune.
Event Highlights:
• Costume-friendly hallway activities, décor, and treats
• Family-friendly, accessible celebration hosted inside the school
• Open to residents of the surrounding neighborhood and Bethune families
About Mary McLeod Bethune School #45:
Located at 1445 Clifford Avenue, Bethune serves PreK–8th grade students as part of the Rochester City School District. It offers diverse programming including a GEM (Gifted & Multi-Disabilities) component and reflects a strong commitment to inclusive education.
