As the June 24 primary election approaches, the League of Women Voters of the Rochester Metropolitan Area (LWV-RMA) is encouraging local residents to use VOTE411.org—a comprehensive, nonpartisan election resource designed to help voters make informed choices at the ballot box.
VOTE411.org offers personalized information on candidates, voter registration, polling locations, and other essential tools to guide voters through the election process. Available in both English and Spanish, the site is especially helpful for first-time voters and younger residents participating in local elections.
“With key local races on the ballot this year, it's more important than ever for Rochester-area voters to make their voices heard,” said Barbara Grosh, president of the LWV-RMA. “VOTE411 is the nation’s leading online election resource, and we’ve added our local voter guide to ensure the community has easy access to the information they need.”
Early voting in Monroe County begins on June 14 and runs through June 22. Primary Election Day is Tuesday, June 24.
Grosh emphasized the importance of preparation: “We want every voter to head to the polls feeling confident and well-informed. That’s what VOTE411 is here for.”
The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan organization dedicated to encouraging informed participation in government and increasing public understanding of key policy issues through education and outreach.
