The Journey of the Maji

Overview:
I’m glad you picked up this book, for me as a boy Christmas was very different. As you will see for me there was no Santa Claus. It was the Three Kings that brought the toys and candies. In a cultured society that is rich in its Christian heritage. It only makes sense that the men, who brought gifts to Jesus today, bring presents to the children.

This story is about the journey of the Magi. In the Bible Matthew 2 gives us the account of the Wise Men having reached their destination. Take a flight into imagination, as I wonder. “Who are the three Kings? What were their lives like and the details of their voyage?” This Christmas fantasy is an attempt to share my traditions with my children and you.

Inside you will find some details into my religious upbringing. Information of how we prepared to receive The Three Kings. Here is little bit of the history into how this book came about and its sponsors and places of exhibition in the past.

I will consider this book a success when you find yourself like me celebrating Epiphany. Perhaps you will dress up as one of the Three Kings on January 6th as I’ve done. When you participate in a church dramatization to bring presents to Jesus and pass out candies to the children of your church. Perhaps you’ll read Matthew 2 to the children and ask them what or parts of my story are biblical and what parts are my imaginations. Think of the fun that you will have bringing back to life what is a tradition in Puerto Rico, and in other countries. Remember share the magic of holiday season and God’s love.

El Viaje De Los Reyes Magos

Me alegro que escogió este libro, para mí cuando niño la Navidad fue muy diferente.  Como verá para mí, no había Santa Claus. Eran Los Tres Reyes que traían juguetes y dulces. En una sociedad culta, rica en su herencia cristiana. Sólo tiene sentido que los que le llevaron regalos a Jesús, hoy en día le traigan regalos a los niños.

Esta es la historia del viaje de los magos. En la Biblia Mateo 2 nos ofrece un relato de los reyes que llegaron a Belén. Vuele en la imaginación y pregúntese. "¿Quiénes son Los Tres Reyes? ¿Cómo eran sus vidas y los detalles de su viaje?”. Ésta fantasía de Navidad es un intento de compartir mis tradiciones con mis hijos y usted.

En el interior encontrará algunos detalles de mi formación religiosa. Información de cómo nos preparamos para recibir a Los Tres Reyes. Aquí está un poco de historia sobre cómo surgió este libro, sus patrocinadores y lugares de exposición en el pasado.

Consideraré este libro un éxito, cuando se encuentre como yo celebrando la Epifanía. Tal vez use vestiduras de Los Tres Reyes el 6 de enero como yo lo he hecho. Puede participar en una dramatización en su iglesia, para traer obsequios a Jesús, repartir bombones y regalos a los niños de su iglesia. Tal vez lea Mateo 2, a los niños y les pregunte qué partes de mi historia son de la Biblia y qué partes es mi imaginación. Piense en el regocijo que usted sentirá, devolviendo a la vida, lo que es una tradición en Puerto Rico, y en otros países. Recuerde compartir la magia de la temporada de Navidad y el amor a Dios.
